hello and welcome

 

Mike (Icantdrive55) owns a bar on S.MilitaryHwy called LongShots... he's got a full crew, they rent out local stips/tracks a few times a year for shitz and grinz. You need to meet him, stop in for a beer.

The local Miata club is fine if you're into wine&cheese... good group, just not gearheads.

The local SCCA guys autocross at Little Creek Amphib base on the LCAC ramp. There are a couple Miata guru's there, not hard to find.

I'll be back there mid-Sept for about 2months learning to fly again before I head off to New Orleans... decent Reserve base there, I think they've got some Helos'... maybe you'll get orders someday.

We'll do beers at Longshots a few nights when I'm in town in the fall.

 

Definitely hit me up when you get here. I'm going to stop by Mike's place this week.

How did I miss this thread? Oh I know I have not had time for **** for the last few weeks, been getting the LeMons / Chumpcar ready! That was a great weekend!

Just get in early, its on the old Blackwater base and EVERYBODY needs a to get name on list early. I'll be taking the turbo car and the Chumpcar.

As Sam said I'll be doing another 1/4 mike rental in October (working on date now) will post it when I know.

 

I'll be rolling in there first week of Sept. I've rented a house up near Little Creek and the wife/kids are coming with. We'll be there through Thanksgiving.
