My 2006 Hyundai Tiburon



this is my baby atm. i wan't to mod it but because 'm still paying for it and all i can't justify doing much more thank intake, headers, and exhaust.

So in a search for the most inexpensive car to mod i picked up this Miata for $2000.



She is a 95 with 200k miles. Tan/Brownish interior which i am not too crazy about. She has rust on the rockers like all of them around here. Perfect project car!

What do i want to do to it?

Turbo (one this engine or another if this has bad comp) 250HP
Bomex Body kit
Racing additions (seats, harnesses, steering wheel...)
Mega Squirt (want a 3 but may have to go 2)
suspension
brakes
wheels
tires

and any broken things in between.



Secondly i have a 90 miata that i got for free with this 95 (it was a package deal) good for spares but may end up restoring it too.

 

What are you looking to use the Miata for? Also if you have the tan interior you have the C package. I have the same year and model. Great car IMO. Already comes with Torsen LSD too. I'd do a full look over on the car to make sure everything is mech. sound. Never know what could break on a car thats 15 years old.

 

a reliable 50/50 track and dd. i do local drift and autox. 250 seems to be good while keeping a good spool up time.

 

Minus AutoX thats about what I use my car for. It's my DD yet I take it to almost all the drift events. Also it's great you have the spare 90. **** breaks a lot when AutoX'ing and esp. drifting. Best of luck with that car!
