Ziggo's 1993 Miata (its a rescue)

So noticing that the tires were wearing the outside edge badly, on the rears in particular, I gave the car what it wanted, more camber. Now at -3.3º Front and -2.8º rear. Also reduced the caster down to 4.2º, still zero toe all around. This is the most camber I can get out of the front without some new parts, and the rear is pretty close to maxed out as well. I might have been able to get the fronts to -3.5º but I would have had to run a pile more caster and without powersteering I figured that would slow me down more. My first run of the day the car was pushing everywhere, I thought I made a huge mistake with the setup, but as the tires warmed up on subsequent runs the car came back to a good place and the reduced caster helps in the quick transitions. This group only classes by displacement, so I run with all the other street tire, non-turbo miatas so this car is a bit of a cheater compared to others in the class, allowing me to finish 5th out of 22. My best run of the day is the second run in this video, but I picked up a cone somewhere, though even if it were clean it would have only moved me up to 4th. Still a good day. I think I will be leaving the Novice Class behind and go take my lumps in the Index (pax) class. Its either that or run mostly unopposed in the CSP class.

ts so stinking hot. Got out and ran this past weekend. Didn't place as well as I have in the past, placing 5th. I usually pick up time with each of my runs, but the tires got overheated and I just couldn't improve with my last two runs. Need to be able to run better times with fewer runs.
In the downtime I left the car parked.... Tires took the epoxy right off the floor. Going to have to keep the car on jackstands going forward.
