MAC valves extremely noisy
I have had a few MAC brand EBC valves die and or get extremely loud.
The MAC guys dont have a lot to say.
They are specced to run between 60 and 70 Hz, but the MS2 (in this case mspnp2) is unable to run this frequency.
Also which way are you guys connecting yours, which ports to where?
Cheers,
Dann

I haven't played with boost control in Megasquirt, but what does your boost table look like?
I know when I tuned AEM system, if I had anything setup for boost gain in the low cruising/idle cells, the valve would click away even when the car was in vacuum. Tuning the boost cells to keep it from doing this would likely increase the life of the solenoid exponentially being that its not doing work under no-load conditions.
Cheers,
M
