Default Acceleration measurement datalog

What is everybody using for measuring for example 0-60? I always used my datalog and the VSS input, but today i connected a 10hz GPS to tunerstudio and noticed with a WOT 0-60 the is a 7mph gap between them. for example GPS was 55mph(90kmh) and VSS was 62mph(100kmh)

at 62mph VSS the RPM was 7139, and according to the FM gearing calculator 7139 RPM in 2nd gear is exactly the same as my VSS. Because late shifting im getting very quick 0-62 times of 4.3 sec. But because the GPS is slower it is recording a 62mph when im already in 3rd with a result of 5.5 sec

Steady driving its no more than 1mph difference between GPS and VSS. All this was done on a cold day near freezing point with 2 persons in the car

so.. what is anyone else using for measuring 0-60 or any other time, and what can i trust, my GPS or my VSS
