Don't use TPSdot in boosted regions, because small changes in TPS can cause massive changes in MAP, so you could get lean spikes if using TPSdot. TPSdot just doesn't capture fine resolution in the transitions for boosted cars like MAPdot does.

That link states "Some users have found that when using MAPdot it is difficult to control when in boost, so we have added the option to turn off the acceleration enrichments, when using MAPdot, when in boost."
Which is what I've seen too, particularly on a noisy MAP signal. I generally use TPSdot if the car has a TPS, and MAPdot if it doesn't. They both seem to work well when dialed in. |
Interesting. I tried finding where I read that stuff about TPSdot, but can't find it again :vash:
Maybe I'll eventually play around with a TPSdot/MAPdot combo. |
isn't there a simple option switch to disable it in boost.
yeah under accel decel trigger dot. |

yeah under accel decel trigger dot. You're worse than Richard :gay: |
well, if it's suggested that you don't want to use TPSdot in boost, you can simply turn it off above X kPa. the end.

I was reading somewhere to not use TPSdot on a boosted car because changes in throttle in a boosted car can have very different changes on MAP. However, it should be pretty ideal for a NA car.
