Hey all! I went from an EMS4 unit to my Microsquirt. It is on an 85 MB 2.3L using edis4 ignition..

The aem did not pick up the VR signal so I switched to MS..

When the aem was installed the edis4 fired the plugs every time I cranked.. Now it does not.. It has power to the coil and module.. Bad VR? Wiring?

I tried flipping the polarity of the VR it didn't help.. When I went back to the way it was I had finger tied the VR wires back and cranked.. I got spark... Then I soldered the wires and grabbed my laptop to records the sensor is MStuner.. Composite logger picks up nothing... I pull the plug again its now NOT firing..

VR is spaced correctly and I believe wired correctly.. Could be an issue with the sensor or wiring.. Either way its not firing and mstuner picks up no cranking signals...

Are my tuner settings correct? Any other ideas?

No one ever helped out with this? I am considering a microsquirt with my BPT but I am not finding anything specific about the microsquirt but rather info for megasquirt.

 

Microsquirt is just a MS2.

 

Thank you. So, all I gotta do is find someone with a comparable MegaSquirt 2 in a bpt with Coil on Plugs to look at all they have done. Seems to be a few on here
