Default AMP MS3 Pro Mini standalone install for 01-05 VVT

I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread on the MS3 Pro Mini that I installed on a 1994 miata with a 01-05 VVT engine before I forget everything that I have done. I'll probably be constantly updating things to this thread.

Firing order 1-3-4-2
INJ & Coils A-B-C-D

There are 4 dip switches inside the MS3 for cam/crank and tach output. Switches 2,4,5 need to be in the ON position.

Great thread @58nate . I followed your build and I appreciate that you were able to use the parts you had on hand and make them work together instead of buying new parts.
I am considering the ms3 pro mini myself (or ms3 gold lite) and this info will be super helpful!
These ecus are great bang for the buck compared to the pnps, but they dont seem very popular.

They are a great deal if you are willing to put in the work to wire them in. I just got the MS3 Gold Lite for my mustang and have been comparing them. I talked to the main guy over at EFI Source and we talked quite awhile, if you ever need support they are great people. If I ever built a 4 cylinder again I would probably stick with the AMP MS3 Pro mini. It has the built in pullups, built in baro correction, built in Map and Tunerstudio License. It just makes a compact clean install. The Gold lite is nice because it is really the only cheap option for fully sequential V8 stuff and has USB C connection, you just have to add in the things that are missing and figure out the pullups.

Edit: also the AMP MS3 Pro Mini has 8gb for datalog and the Gold Lite has 2gb.
The MS3 Gold Lite runs the old firmware. That's why I ended up calling them, they told me to just use the MS3 firmware. There are 7 different variants in the download and I didn't want to brick the damn thing
