64 pin ecu connector
In the 'DIY Megasquirt' thread theres reference to what appears to be the factory ECU connector, and for pretty cheap. However, I can't find anyone that stocks it, and newark.com says they need a 43 day lead time. Is that just 'the way it is' and I need to just find a used/borked ecu or am I missing something?
64 Pin Male connector (174518-7)
(asking because I just ordered a 3.0/ms3/ms3x setup, (selling my DIYPNP) I guess not many people are doing anything other than DIYPNPs and MSPNPs around here)

I got mine for free directly from the Tyco website by requesting it as a sample. As a general rule, this is a pretty good way to get electrical parts which are hard to find or cannot be purchased in qty 1 from normal retail vendors.

http://www.newunitedracetech.com/shop/ is where I got mine. $12 shipped for just the ECU plug. They have all the bits you could possibly need to make any kind of harness into the OEM harness/ECU.
MULTILOCK is the name of the connector.

I got mine from tyco as an engineering sample, ended up taking about 5 business days. Not bad from japan (and free). I don't recommend everyone does this though, at some point they're gonna get mad, and $12-$15 really isn't that bad compared to a DIYBOB (no offense, its pretty... just 'too rich for my blood')
