Chris Rock did a bit about going to parties with metal detectors. Sure you feel safe inside but when you leave, everybody knows you ain't packin'.
Now I'm supposed to show up and announce that I'm running an illegally modified vehicle in a city where they are crushing cars. See the parallel?
I would actually show but I'll be in Oregon that weekend (and the following week) for a funeral.

Nice...
Bringing an MS'd car isn't required by any means... But it will be a cool meet for anyone interested in MS that can get there. There are people flying in from all over. Bruce and Al. Lance from the forums. Eric the author of MegaTune. Ken who is one of the authors of MS-II Extra. And plenty of others. Dieselgeek (Scott Clark) will be doing a tuning demonstration on Spectre's dyno. I'm not sure yet if we'll be strapping any other (users) cars down to the dyno or not but that often happens... It's usually a really fun time for all, and even more-so if you're a car-geek.

excellent good thing ya posted this here otherwise some people might not have found out. Its a pia drive to get down there(la traffic blah) but methinks it'll be worth it, i'll just drive at night. See you guys down there with my shoddily tuned ms.
I may just be able to do this, depending on what time the meet gets started. I might have to get a little dyno time in early on and then hit the road back to San Francisco.
