Anybody installed MS-II with EDIS??
Wondering if any of you have installed MS-II with EDIS ignition. Would like to see install pics of the wheel and trigger....:)

I think most guys are running MSI's with V3 boards and using the stock CAS to run fuel+spark. Why not run that and enjoy the extra benefits of the extra firmware?

You could blaze the trail there... options are always nice... Good luck and keep us posted.

Anyone have ever use the OBDII miata stock crank sensor?
I have seen that there is one in the car wiring diagram. But I didn't look on my car to try to find it actually. |
Why are people not using megasquirt II for the miata? I would think that its added features and potential for later upgrades/features would be very desireable. Is it due to the current state of its firmware? I know very little about writting code and don't see myself being a pioneer in this area. However, I've always been a sucker for the "latest and greatest" especially when it concerns electronic gadgets.
I plan on converting a 95 to megasquirt this next fall and then adding boost. Just trying to learn as much as I can in the mean time. When I first started reading about megasquirt it seemed way over my head. However, the more I read the more feasible it seems. I'm currently working on converting an 85 vanagon to suby power. In the process. Wiring harnesses have be "demystified." Circuit boards are another story all together. I was thinking about ordering a kit for the stimulator to learn how to solder and test circuits. the problem with MS-II is it is not compatible with the CAS. MS-II Is compatible with a ditributor or with Ford's EDIS ignition system. In order to run MS-II, you would need to convert to EDIS.
