Ok, questions first:

there are 3 files which the ecu needs to have, matched. The firmware, the ecu definition file and the tune definition.

I have done this 100 times but Im lost. Corrext me where I am wrong.

Use msbootloader to flash 1.5.1 and keep no configuration or msq files. Then make a new project. Allow it to detect ecu and firmware. Open project and connect ecu. Load working tune file from another ms3pnp 01-05. Tunerstudios shoukd detect an incorrect ini file and load it on.
everything should work and be error free.

When i do this it either fails to get the correct sata and tells me its recieving invalid data or with some tune files loaded it is ok but then has config errors which cannot be fixed or when i fix them the MAP reading is wrong no matter what.

what i think: this april build date ms3pnp pro has hardware changes due to the recent electronics shortages and was shipped with a custom firmware or basemap with custom MAP calibration.

I do not have this original firmware or tune due to a laptop error and the provided USB has no tune or firmware file which works.

ive even flashed on 1.3.4 and used the common 1.3.2 miata 01-05 basemap, it has config errors which dont make sense and cannot be resolved.
