Default Can’t get a good idle 1999 miata

I installed a speedunio pnp ecu, I know its not a megasquirt but it uses the same program (tuner studio) and theres not a huge following so its hard to find threads specific to speeduino, I have watched many videos and read many threads and have been unable to get the idle to a reasonable point. You have to give the car gas to start then it only idles around 500-600rpm and often dies if you don’t hold the throttle a bit, I have a wideband O2 and the car idled fine before on the stock ecu so I don’t want to mess with the mechanic idle screw, If someone could help me that would be awesome, I don’t want to take it to get a full tune yet because Im currently getting a turbo kit around and would like to pay once to get it tuned. Though If someone was able to help me get this car idling alright I would gladly pay you. Any help is greatly appreciated. The tune should be attached below.

Post a log of the car idling so we can see runtime information.

Where did you purchase your ECU?
Does the ECU support controlling the alternator?

All of your idle settings are a little wacked, looks like you've been ******* with it a lot, which I understand. If I had to guess, you've actually increased the idle cranking values to beyond their useful range, so you may be actually hurting yourself by doing that. Make sure your wideband is reading properly, and make sure you have fuel and spark on all 4 in test mode (does speedunio have test mode?)

But yes, a log would be most helpful.

Ok, the log should be posted below, first cold start crank it starts then dies then I have to give it gas and hold gas to stay running, then when i let off it oes really low rpm then shoots up a few times then dies. Im not sure if it has a test mode, I haven't seen one but I'll look into it tonight and tomorrow. I did mess with the cranking values a good bit but I didn't really notice any change so they may be funky numbers.

If you want to check out my tune I'm driving a 2000 on a SpeedyEFI unit. My car idles well, although I can't idle with AC on at this moment because I haven't wired up the AC signals yet.

I haven't looked at your tune, but have you installed a flyback diode?

Looking at the tune, are you using closed loop? If you can get that working well on a SpeedyEFI unit I'd be surprised.
Open loop with some idle advance is going to be way easier to get started with.
