Default Can anyone explain....

Im kinda new on the whole ECU, Tuning and all of that. I have a couple of questions.

What is baro?
What is baro Correction?
Should I get it in the MSPnP?

Thanks

yes... get the PnP I'm one of the beta testers of the M9495 model. Jerry has taken a LOAD off the work... he builds the ECU, you don't have to redo the stock wiring harness, and most of the tuning is already done. It's the way to go.

I don't know which kind of car you have... but it literally is plug-in-and-drive. All that's really left to do is fine tuning. The beauty is, for whatever reason you may need to. You can just go back to the stock ECU in 15 minutes, if that.

Baro/Barometric Correction is having 2 map sensors running simultaneously and having the engine map sensor adjusted against the actual pressure currently reading on the 2nd sensor, versus an original saved reading from the single map sensor.

It is good if you are cruising/racing through mountains with rapid elevation changes and you have no time (or don't want to) shut off your car to reset the reading.

Is it worth the money in the MSPNP, imho yes.

I need to find a cheap source for a second sensor for myself, but have bigger things to do with the megasquirt before that.

Edit: I guess I need to type faster, always someone else posts above me as I am typing my post
