Can someone take a look at these msq?
Halcyon2.msq is the basemap braineack gave me. I tried it a long time ago and it didn't work. Forgot what was wrong with it.
The other msq looks very different. It will start up and drive fine when warm.
Doesn't idle very well when cold and if I turn on the AC it will stall completely whether hot or cold.
I took the values from Halcyon2.msg and pluged it into the other msq w/o changing the maps and the car would crank but not start up.
Any ideas?
It's a 94 Miata.
1.9 motor (84mm pistons 8.6:1)
305cc injectors (supra green top)
Thanks

Pull fuel from the VE table until it starts, then go to ASE after that if it won't run. The MSQ looks fine to me, you just need to get it running and go from there with the fuel table.

I'm trying to get my car to run/idle good when cold and have the ability to use AC.
Currently, I have to sit there and wait for the car to warm up and the rpm hunts alot.
So I should use the Halcyon2.msq? I figured that was the basemap to use since I got it from braineack. The guy who made the other msq is more of a honda guy.
Since the car would start with the badidle.msq, can I simply copy the VE table and ASE from badidle.msq and paste it to halcyon2.msq? Or will that give me the same bad idle?

Just looked at Halcyon2 and the required fuel is 12.5 while bad idle.msq is 13. But if I use the req fuel calculator, for 1900cc engine with 4 cylinders with 305cc/min injector and 14.7 afr my req fuel is 10.5?
Looking at the VE table, Halcyon2's numbers are also lower.
Should I be adding fuel instead of pulling fuel?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm at a complete lost when it comes to TunerStudio and MS.
