Default Confirmation on cam vs crank sensor inputs

Noob time, but just want to be clear on something.

For the harness on a 90 chassis, I only need cam sensor input, correct? Referencing trubokitty, it's X32 to 2G, with "crank sensor input" being MS24 to 2E. I understand this may seem obvious and probably is, seeing as my car doesn't have a crank sensor but the new motor I'm putting in did.

Also, Braineack if you see this, can you tell me if I did the correct jumper connections for a wideband install? I screwed up the board and didn't want to undo everything so I started over with just the connector. Just have MS harness on so far.

Excuse shitty soldering. It's ugly secure and nothing is touching.

A CAS sensor has 2 outputs. They are wired to the megasquirt as cam and crank.

So I am using both then, thanks Aidan. Apart from that link, have you found any evidence for using the optical vs magnetic sensor? I have the 94-97 CAS on the engine now, other one is still in my car obviously. Curious if there's a preference for one over the other.
