Difference in MS-I and MS-II v.3.0

Is there any difference in modding the MS-I v3.0 and the MS-II v3.0??
(because from what I see the pcb is the same)

And also is it possible to route the output of a AEM wbo2 into the MegaSquirt?

From what I understand the board is the same. The difference is that you replace the MS1-processor on the V.3 board with the MS2 daughtercard.

I´ve read somewhere that the MS2 won´t work with the stock sensors, coils etc, and that you have to do the Ford Edis system to get MS2 on a Miata.
