Default Difference in MS-I and MS-II v.3.0

Is there any difference in modding the MS-I v3.0 and the MS-II v3.0??
(because from what I see the pcb is the same)

And also is it possible to route the output of a AEM wbo2 into the MegaSquirt?

From what I understand the board is the same. The difference is that you replace the MS1-processor on the V.3 board with the MS2 daughtercard.

Ive read somewhere that the MS2 wont work with the stock sensors, coils etc, and that you have to do the Ford Edis system to get MS2 on a Miata.
