Default DIYPNP Startup Issue

Good evening everyone,

I've finally got my hands on a DIYPNP and I'm running into an issue getting the car to start. It came with a basetune, but I don't know if it's worth it's weight in getting started. The car will turn over, start very briefly, then die.

My car is a 1996, NA with nothing other than bolt on mods. No aftermarket injectors. Using the stock MAF for now. I've made sure my physical timing is set correctly, vaccum lines are plumbed up, LC1 hooked up correctly, etc. I've tried to compare the tune loaded on my car to diyautotunes basemaps, and it seems the one on my car has lots of extra fuel.. everywhere. Before I get too far, can you kind folks take a look at the basetune and see if there are blatant problems? I'm hesitant to use the diypnp basemap for a 96 because I don't know if it will be compatible with my DIYPNP.

I'm not afraid to learn - I just want to make sure this tune isn't going to be self destructive from the get go.

Thanks in advance all, the tune and log are attached.

Your KOEO MAP reading is 148kpa. I would think that is affecting something. I didn't look at your tune in whole just the VE and spark numbers since they showed up in megalog and the maps seem logical for a stock engine. So I would start by finding out why your MAP readings are 1.5 times atmospheric pressure with KOEO.

I'm a little confused by you saying "using the stock MAF for now". Are you using it for air temp readings or is the tune actually using the MAF? Unless your racing class mandates using the MAF, don't use the MAF. Not that there is anything wrong with it but speed density works very well, is easier to tune, and is much more flexible for making intake piping.

The Autotune basemap is just that, a basemap. If you want to compare it to something, compare it to the braineack basemap. Are all your sensor readings in check? (CLT, MAP, TPS, O2, etc)
