I just posted this in the emanage section but I was wondering if you guys share maps? if nothing else reference but with so many people running similar setups... like host them somewhere for anyone to reference/use. what do you guys think? does this already exist?

Im sure at the megasquirt forum there is somthing like this there but I was thinking miata specific.

I saw that, its what made me think about this.
but I actually mean the files. I dont use megasquirt and I havent done too much research about it but I figured you could dump the settings to a file or batch of files. then have them somewhere for other peopl to use as reference or base maps

 

We sort of do some sharing.

Most of the N/A guys use my .msq as their base map to get their cars up and running. If people ask me for a copy, I'm happy to email them my .msq but I'm not too keen to have it placed somewhere for everyone to access.

If I send my .msq via email then the reciever and I can discuss the differences that may be needed to better suit their car. If it's just posted somewhere then that 'safeguard' isn't there and people could end up burning coils, etc which doesn't do anyone any good.....

 

Not exactly MS related... but it is Map related.... Since there isn't an AEM EMS forum on here... do people share any maps for them currently?

It'll be the biggest component of my build (crap, more than i paid for the car w/hardtop )... just not sure I want to deal with MS for this buildup... :(
