I have been trying to tune my close loop idle and I got it pretty nice. My problem is that the engine wants to die or sometimes dies when I stab the gas and let it go. RPMS drop very low, sometimes making the car die before entering close loop.

This also happens in open loop. I'm using close loop with table lookup for initial value, does the same thing with "last value"

 

I want to add, I did use the "test mode" to test the iac valve and it works, it does seem to take a second or 2 to open when I input a different pwm.

 

It looks like the cells leading the way to the idle region is too lean; that 18+ AFR is not due to overrun fuel cut, as there's no fuel cut there. Bump up the lower row VE cells.

 

Ill do that tomorrow and report back.
