You've been able to log & tune with a Palm for years. And they're cheap.

Can I log with a treo 700p? And then how do I get the data back to somewhere usable? What triggers the start and stop of the log?

Don't hate me, I cant RTFM at the moment to many other things going on.

If you are porting something to the iphone that doesn't matter. The point is that the core of the program could run on the phone fairly easily. The interface would need to be brand new anyway.

I do not have the computer skills to create any kind of software.

Anyone want to make an app? I bet it would sell in the app store fairly easily, i would buy it..

I made a little logger that logs to a secure digital card, and fits in an altoids tin. I just leave it in the glove compartment with the serial cable attached. There's an external switch that I flip whenever I want to log something.

It's quite convenient... sometime I'll get some boards printed.
