Few questions on setting up flex fuel
Ok I have searched quite a bit about setting up flex fuel but I have a few questions. I am using an MS3 pro pnp on a 2004 Miata with basic bolt ons. I want to use the dual VE1 and VE3 maps and blend between them.
It looks like I can either set my startup VE3 (E85) map up based the VE1 (E10) and then add 30 or 35% across the board. Or I can use the Fuel Multiplier in the Fuel Sensor Settings and then make the VE3 map identical to the VE1 map. Obviously I am going to fine tune.
Basically do I want to add the 30-35% in the fuel multiplier or just manually in the VE3 map.
If I do want to use the fuel multiplier what setting should I use. Because my base tune is based off of E10 so it would seem that I would need the 0 percent ethanol setting to be a percentage less than 100 if I want E10 to be 100%.
