Default Getting Started With Begi-S tune

I am almost finished with my begi-s install, and i am wondering as to where i need to start as far as getting it my car on the road. I have read all the FAQ's and looked around but came up with nothing. I am running a completely stock car except for the mspnp with the base map. I wanted to know where to start. i believe that i am able to start the car with no problems but once i put load on the car i believe i am going to run into problems. im running the 2554 on a stock 1.6 with stock injectors. Im not asking for someone to give me a map, Im just asking that someone guide me in the right direction as to where i can find imformation that will help me get started. i tried looking through the megamanual as well but didnt quite understand where to look. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Drive the car while datalogging. Then run the datalog with MSQ through megalogviewer. It will tune the fuel VE table for you as long as you have the AFR target table setup correctly.
Tune away and enjoy how simple MS is.

First you set your AFR in your MSQ in megasquirt. You can search around for a picture of other people's values. Then, drive around a bit to get a good datalog. Make sure you press Record before driving. Once you have your file, open it up in megalogviewer along with your CURRENT AFR UPDATED MSQ. In the upper right section there is a button that says analyze VE table. Click inspect then save the new MSQ. Burn to MS and try again.

PS Ignore all grammar mistakes, not exactly sober atm.

MegaLogViewer - VE Analysis

After you "Save" or "Save as"(i suggest save as) you now have to load the new MSQ into your MS. From Megatune hit Ctrl-O and pick the newest MSQ. Yes to burning it.

Repeat from the beginning.

PS. this all works much better if you have a wideband.

No, get into boost, it will all log and you should adjust it accordingly. However you must do this in very small steps to avoid damage from fuel or ignition time issues.

You're going to learn a lot about this through discovery. I recommend rereading the mspnp manual and megamanual on occasion to reinforce and engender more understanding of how this works.

I also recommend building detonation headphones to help avoid catastrophe. They've been awesome in my experience.
