Default Got Megasquirt working, a few questions

So i have my megasquirt v3 running the show now with the 550cc injectors i bought way back, and its freaking amazing how fast 7-9 psi feels in this thing

... anyway, first im having trouble getting the car to idle properly. I did the install as per diyautotune with their settings and the diode, but im idling around 1200 and i can make it go higher, but not lower and it seems like it is either on or off when it does this. Any tips?

2. fuel pump works without having hooked it up? is it AFM controlled? (AFM's still on the car)

3. Anybody mess with Injector opening time? I found 1.2ms to work better for me than 1.0

4. With the automatic TPS, which wire is the 5v ref and which is the otha one? (read no tps signal right now.

5. i feel like the turbo could spool a bit quicker with better tuning, any suggestions?

any chance that you could show me how you did your harness to hook up to the car? I wanna start installing it already but i'm stuck.

I think for the Idle you can recalibrate thermistor in the settings. I'm assuming you got MSII with the v3 board...

idle is touchy. took me a while to get it right. every car is different.

AFM runs the FP. either get ms to do it or jumper the diag box like i did.

see the thing is that when i look at the idle duty cycle, it is pegged on 0. I have not looked at what it is doing on startup though as it idles around 800 for a few seconds on initial startup and then goes to 1200 - 1300 after that. As far as the AFM, I guess Ill run the wire to the squirt and take off the AFM ... would be nice if i got it spooling a bit earlier. Do you think shooting for little lag at 3k and basically instant at 4k is unresonable?

Is your AIC and throttle dashpot set correctly, is your timming still stockish? I dont see why not i have less lag than that without MS

so it sounds like it's not working at all. the car will idle at 1300 on the stock ecu with the ms running fuel and spark. my ms knowledge is all setup, virtually no troubleshooting.

it should be nearly instant spool at 4k, what turbo and exhaust do you have? you can't really tune for spool, aside from just getting the car revving well (good spark map). taking off the AFM will be good for response.

He did the DIYautotune mods. Follow their page and you can't screw up.
If you follow the megamanual and build it accordingly, then do exactly what DIY tells you to, no more & no less then it will work. No point in him writing up what's been writen well already all over again.
