Hard reset after clutch job (with log)
1 Attachment(s)
Recently changed the clutch on my car and replaced the main ground on the back of the motor that had melted during the last track session. I replaced the spark plugs which helped.
My thought is it may be a grounding issue, or possibly a coil going out. The weird thing is the reset happens only in boost, at the same psi consistently. There is enough slack in the coils ground that it is not pulling loose from the motor moving. 1.6 sav's cops, mspnp. Attachment 188589 I would really appreciate any advice. |
Mine did that shart when the coil was only bolted on by one bolt. Also, the ground under my alternator was a little loose. Check everything with a fine toothed comb.

Was it resetting at the exact same boost pressure?

Check plug gap. I was fine for a few years at larger gaps and now I'm down to .025 or something like that.

Hmm.. that helped a little bit, I got 2 more psi. But still not where it was. Thanks for the suggestion hustler. Maybe it's time to throw new coils at it.
