Been working on my car during the stay at home order and was installing my MS3X and am having a hard time finding out why the car will crank for awhile than start than run for maybe 30sec than die. Sometimes it'll surge at idle and looks to be running rich. Any help or where to start would be appreciated it.
Using the trubokitty tune as its built by him.
9:15pm. I might have fixed my issue i noticed my wideband wasn't reading and throwing a error so I re flashed firmware and updated the voltage settings per the manual and that seems to have fixed that issue but i went to try and start it and the battery isn't having it. On the charger for the night and time to try tomorrow!

Reason: Might have fixed.
I'll be the first to admit when I have no idea what is going on. I tried looking around and trying the suggestions from threads ive found here from awhile ago but I still cant figure it out. My car will start, jump to about 3k rpm, than slowly go down and than die.
If any1 has any input, again I would really appreciate it.
Been tinkering some more. When i go into the IAC testing mode and set it it will idle fine, at like 1300~rpm, but as soon as i turn it off itll spike in rpm than die.
Your idle valve settings look like NA Idle Valve settings (min26%-max99%).
Idle cranking duty and CL idle initial values tables are based on these settings.
Did you test Idle Valve?
So it looks like i uploaded the wrong tune? Idk how that hapend but I got the car to not stall at least and at some point it was idling right at 2k rpm but i dont know how I made that happen.
Below I have included the tune and log that I got as it was surging.
Your idle settings certain seem jacked up. I generally see cranking around 40-50%, and idling around 20-30. You're at 60+ cranking and idling, and your idle valve minimum is 38%. It'll never go below 38% unless in test mode.
When you're idling at 1300rpm in test mode, what duty cycle is that at?

I think it's around 48%. Not sure since I'm not at the car.
I have attached three logs. The first being when i just went out to the car and started. 2nd is where i changed the Closed-loop idle initial values and it was doing okay than died and the 3rd log is me trying to fix where i was at on log two but now it just starts up to around 1500, so already an improvement WOO, and than will drop off and die. So my thought is that the idle VE table needs to be toned down a little because now its just to rich at idle and is stalling out the car. Am I on the right track?
Edit: Cant add the third log as its to big.

Reason: Cant add third
I tried it and it actually worked really well! Just needed a bit of throttle and she started and idled, a bit roughly, around 1200~ RPM! I let it warm up a bit than gave it some throttle because i was excited and it died my excitement dashed away. Now it wont stay running again. Ive attached a log of me keeping it going with throttle than letting of slowly than it dying.
Above I have attached a google drive link to my log and current tune. I have tried to do this one more time today and the same thing happened but with a refreshed mind I have noticed that when the Coolant temp reaches about 115 is when the issue is occurring. If anyone has any insight to that I would appreciate it. Its still running so rich that gas is coming out the exhaust and everything.
that log shows you are idling at 97kpa
check you map sensor line if pinched, cut, disconnected, etc. check for vacuum leaks.
did you touch an idle screw?
check map sensor calibration

I fixed it and it idles around 30ish KPA now. It didnt die at all I think and it idled all the way up to 190 CLT and didnt die with throttle.
