Default Help 90 going from MS1 to MS3 pro pnp

90 chassis w/ms3 pro pnp. 99 head, intake manifold, throttle body, built bottom end with .040" overbore, aem wideband wired into the chassis harness (- brown wire), id1000 injectors (currently at 45psi), cops and no IACV. Currently NA.

I had the car tuned but it was a quick dirty tune to get it going. Many settings were wrong but the car (when hot) would run. I think this is because when it would start after heating up ms would kick right over to the fuel map (no ase or wue).

The settings I have adjusted to try to get things proper are:
Injectors set to 1000cc (from 600cc)
Engine size set to 1883cc (from 1799cc)
(Ultimately changed required fuel from 3.8ms to 3.1ms)
Fan control On set to 190degrees
Fan control Off set to 180degrees (these two were swapped)

Injector dead time set to 1.148ms (from 1ms)
Injector dead time curve set per ID1000 table (curve 1)
AFR / EGO sensor type set to wide band (initially no WB was connected) and algorithm set to Simple
AFT EGO Sensor set to appropriate AEM sensor (have accurate tracking with in car meter)

Number of coils set to Coil On Plug (from Wasted Spark)
Crank Dwell set to 3.5ms (from 5ms)
Cranking Advance set to 18 deg (from 13 deg)
Nominal Dwell set tp 2.1ms (from 3.5ms)
Spark Duration set to 0.5ms (from 1ms)
Dwell battery table updated to MT referenced

Cranking RPM set to 400rpms (from 700rpms)
Idle Valve set to None (from ON/OFF Valve)

I have been reading a lot but I don't know if I am where I need to be to get the car to run like it should...like turn the key and car starts and runs whereas now it is turn the key and run it to 3k until it is on the cusp of overheating and it will run, otherwise it stalls right out (the one day I did drive it to get a safety done the cooling fan relay died and it got up to a healthy 250ish degrees).

I attached the two files for your viewing pleasure:
Pre me tune is what I took it home on with low drivability
Current tune is with the adjustments stated above with no start unless working the throttle

Can any of you way smarter in this area guys help me get it close to reasonable. I think things are still too far off for me to fine tune (I also may not have the strongest grasp on how to do that). Any assistance is immensely appreciated.

Did you ever get it running on the MS1?

Did you replace your '90 harness with a '99?

How did you wire your COP's? Are the actually wired with one trigger per coil running to the MS3?

Do you have both cam and crank sensor wired in?

Did you move over a Crank Sensor and wheel to go along with the '99 head? (kind of a repeat of the previous question).

Yes, no, didn't run anything new to ms but I thought I wired it for individual. I have to check my harness diagram when I get home. Cas only (94) in the 94-97 head position.

Should work. https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...b9-cops-86363/

Sequential should work, as long as your harness is proper.

I just consulted my wiring table and it doesn't look like I wired it up for sequential. Should probably change it to wasted cop. I will have to see how that goes. Thanks for the feedback! Also sweet link...next project will be sequential cops

The car will start with the tune attached and die pretty much as soon as it catches. If I feather the throttle it will stay running. In my attached log I cranked it without touching the throttle followed by feathering the throttle to keep it running for a minute or so. Some input as to where to make adjustments from here would be much appreciated because I keep fiddling with ase and wue but I don't think I am getting anywhere.
