oh yeah? I think I reached him but I'm still waiting to hear back on if he has anything. would you happen to have a working link still? will it at least allow your alternator to run? or are you talking about the generic ms2 firmware I imagine... I really don't want to have to go buy another alternator. Not to mention, like you said, all the stuff that is specific to the miata and wired into the factory harness as such...

He never gave me a link to the one that mine needed, just the generic MS2 download to the publicly available, have been having idle issues since I do not have his special code to use

I was going to upload a log but it's too big. I decided to swap out the alternator and rewire, car is back up and running at least but there are some bugs to work out. I get lost sync errors, reads0 and 32, which is something about the cam not sending data? what does that mean exactly? Also, it wasn't an issue until a couple hours into tuning, the fan relay doesn't stay on. It cycles on and off quickly so the fan only kicks on for a second, my temps started climbing on the highway so I called it a night. kinda beat now, I'll see about getting a shorter and more thorough log tomorrow, hopefully you guys and look it over and give me some pointers. still don't have the correct firmware so I'm running the latest ms2 extra firmware, idk if that could cause any issues with wiring and sensor reading on my ecu...

OK, so I've come across this little feature, these are my debug packages, with the data-logs, connection issues, etc... If you can utilize a zip file... if anyone can help I would appreciate it greatly, Thank you!

high speed logger. trying to catch a mismatch but it disconnects when i try to log it. get that "controller error: burn page failed crc check. check log for full data dump of local and controller page 5 data." popup. the engine cutout is more when i'm into about 6-7 psi, irrelevant of rpm, and I can wind it out as far as I want as long as it stays under 5 psi... also, "time" continues to count up, even after it has a disconnect. so I believe that would eliminate an ecu reset action?

Post your tune, are you sure it's not over boost protection?

The tune and data log should be in those packages, what part of the tune are you referring to? And yeah, it's not that, I have anything unnecessary turned off right now.

well, I've been emailing with him but I guess he can't find the firmware for that ecu.
