Shoot me a message with your e-mail address and I'll send you the file. When you get it, you should re-flash HR then open only this MSQ (don't load another existing one, you can however import your VE/timing VEX files). I went through the same ordeal as you but this MSQ got me going.

If you are running your MS standalone (not sharing the temp sensors with the stock ECU) you can use one of my HighRes images if you want:

Were you able to resolve this? I am having no luck yet.
I tried a completely fresh install on my 91 (MSPNP with the capacitor mod, 550 injectors); I used the code loading utility in the 9697 area, then loaded the 9697 basemap .msq and modified the settings by hand to match my original .msq (except for the spark and fuel tables which I imported from my original .msq). I even completely uninstalled Megatune and deleted the entire area and reinstalled the package from scratch before starting.
The car starts fine, idles great, but at 2500rpm or so the problem kicks in (not right away but after a few minutes of driving it was there and from then on).
Going back to the original firmware and .msq brings everything back to where it was before but I would love to get the HiRes code working if possible.

Hopefully yours is up and running, it will give me some additional hope (I am no MS expert but this seems like a pretty straightforward process, except that it is not working for me).

I have used all the versions of Hires (a-f) and everything from PNP software to my own.

I have done the handwritten map and everything... no luck

One thing I want to try before I give up is to to enter the ve, afr, and adv tables by hand, but I am debating if it is worth it.

No luck with me either (today I re-tried it doing a completely new install after wiping my laptop and the registry of anything Megatune related). Then I again hand loaded the settings after I loaded the firmware using the 9697 code load utility in the MSPNP installation package. Starts and idles fine, then I go to 2500 rpm and the problem is right there.

I also went back to the non-HiRes code.

 

I even used different computers. There must be a difference or something in the MS pnps because those tend to work. Did you build yours?

 

Nope, mine is a MSPNP9093 (with the cap mod done by DIYAutotune).

 

I did notice that I am able to force it above 2500rpm; I see the same issue coming down from above 2500rpm as well (namely, when it hits the magic rpm range it just starts acting like it is being limited).
I think this is consistent behavior to what others have described.

 

Yep. I could force it past as well, however it was to harsh to do it while driving.

 

I took a look at the thread that Saboteur linked to earlier in this thread - they seem motivated to fix the issue, that is great. (I am new to this platform and forums but that is a great response)

 

So I turned off the CLT/IAT related air density as suggested in the other forum. The 2500rpm stutter went away. Looks like folk are on the right track.

The New Version of the HighRes is wonderful! The limit is gone and wow, that resolution makes a difference, especially at idle

 

Glad to hear that issue is resolved. Always nice when a real fix to a problem is created instead of just finding quick work arounds that don't always work for everyone. Improved idle and improved economy should be the biggest aspects of Hi-Res that you can really appreciate.
