I'm seriously stressing out about getting this thing running decently, and the manuals, posts, FAQ's, etc are only confusing me more. It's too much to digest! (cue the waaaaaaaaambulance)

I'm wrapping up the install, and expect to start the car for the first time tomorrow.

My setup is as follows:
MSPNP
95 Miata 1.8l
Flying Miata GT2560R kit
RX7 550 injectors
LC1 / XD16 (also have a UEGO on the shelf)
Test pipe / JR exhaust

I'm not looking to set the world on fire, I just want a nice safe place to start from.

just set up the DIY autotune base map for 550cc's. i just started mine up today. Its rich as hell but itll get it going

 

Just use the basemaps. That's what they're for, getting started. Set your req fuel for 550's, pull say 3-4* from the DIY's spark table and start tuning it. TUne it to say 11.0:1 and then get some det cans hooked up and play with spark.

 

I wouldn't pull timing from that map. It's already retarded.
