I still fail at Upgrading FW

I try to follow @Braineack instructions, but perhaps they are not detailed enough. While I have successfully gone from 1.4.0 to 1.5.1 and back, each one a separate Project, I have been unable to move from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 Beta 4.

I load the new s19 using MS FW loader. I do not Back Up my tune.
Then I turn off car.
Then I create New Project.
When time comes to detect FW, I turn car on and click "Detect"
Then I get the big picture of, I guess, a stack of disks, and a big UP ARROW. EDIT: or maybe that was at the end of the FW load, before I turn car off.
Not sure where I go wrong. Do I take that or not?

Anyway, instead of the list of exceptions, what I get is a tune that has no relationship to my previous tune. Some sort of base tune from hell. Then I go back to 1.5.1 and everything is OK again.

Scott, will you spoon feed me? I need every little click, I guess.

Reference this Link , but with the break in the middle to create the new project.

I did finally get it to take, by moving my msq and dashboard.dash over to the new project and uploading that. Kind of like how I used to do things.

I still don't know how to do it the "right" and straightforward way. I definitely want to have a separate project, especially since this is a beta.

I use the tunerstudio firmware updater, it handles the project conversion for me and takes just a couple of clicks. Why cant you use that?

That is what I am using. If I knew the answer to your question, I would not have created this thread. Note that my objective is to both update the firmware and create a new Project, so that reversion to older FW, if desired, takes be back easily to where I had left off.

TS asks you to create a backup of the project. But I would honestly just copy your project file into some folder, and then just update firmware as usual using the "main" project. (or run a manual backup)
