So i tried to dial in some of my closed loop settings with some info from previous threads and even after messing with the PIDs, the car idles really nicely when cold but it will randomly start shooting up to 1800 rpm and drop to stall out. If i try to start it now it starts and shoots to 1800ish and right to stall.

Right click on an indicator and select CL IDLE.
Start the car, if this doesn't light up(ON), you need to change the threshold settings to enter cl.

Ok, so that helped me a ton. I found out basically when it starts to spike in rpm it stops CLI and doesn't reengage quick enough to catch the dropping rpm and stalls. So that can be fixed with the threshold settings i guess. But there still is the issue as to what is causing the spike in the first place. I will try to adjust the settings first.

So i also just realized my TPS is not working correctly when the car is on. I can calibrate it so i can see 0-100% in the gauge while in on position but once i start it the reading doesn't seem to work :(

I also tried open loop which was actually a lot more stable and it didn't have any jumps in rpm. So something with closed loop is most likely the issue.

Raise your PID activation/deactivation RPMdot thresholds.

So as i was trying to make those adjustments, idk what happened but the car was idling then died and i tried to start it and heard a little noise and then bam the car won't start. When i try to crank it i get RPM not synced. How fucked am i? i will open the MS to see if anything blew but as of right now i'm pretty confused and pissed because i was just starting to make progress.
