Injector information required for v3.0 install

im just about to fit my megasquirt, it has v3.0 on the board.

i have a set of 4 440cc black top supra injectors that iv just had reconditioned.

Am i right in saying they are low impendance?
i was under the imporession they where plug and play but im now concirned there not and im going ot have problems if i just fit them as they are, if you have any information redarding this i would realy appreciate it.

Iv just read a handful of threads about resistor packs but am not sure what resistors to use or where to get them from i i need them.

The code on the side of the injector is: 23250-42010

Iv just payed out to get these proffesionally cleaned so i would rather keep them and fit them even if it requires modifications.

Please let me know if you can shead light on the metter

Thanks

If you have the flyback circuit built into your MS3 board then you can use low z injectors. The injectors that you have are definitely low z and if the miata connectors will connect to them then they should work.

Here is some info on the dead time that I found via google search:
430cc as on st185 are about give or take. # 12 v 0.75 - 14 v 0.55 ms .

Use the above numbers as a starting point.

The flyback circuit typically requires major re-grounding work, and even then doesn't tend to get the job done. You could totally rework the MS to run the go to the jbperf.com peak and hold board or simply run some resistors inline on each injector...

what resistors would i need, and how would i fit them.

Thanks for all the advice

50watt 10ohm resistors...preferably with built in heatsinks. put one on each negative wire to each injectors.

Thanks

You really need to find out if your MS has been modified correctly for the MX5.

High quality in focus shots of the front and back of the board and we can tell you either way.
