Car cranks but wont start. i've got my lc-2 installed and some of the optional pins plugged in to the serial plug that goes into the mspnp but they aren't connected to anything. i've attatched my logs from trying to start and my msq file.
Swapped stock ecu and it fired up first crank. |
It's not seeing RPM. The tune is way off - for one thing, it's set to "Basic Trigger" spark mode. Try downloading the latest base map here:

Oh yea I changed that after trying to start it the first time because one of the screen captures on the instructions showed that. Standard base map and that one both had the same result. I'll make another log after work with the base map loaded.

Can you send me which screen cap showed that setting?

Also does the 9697 require removal of the st sign fuse ? I saw it was required in earlier applications. |
The ST SIGN fuse only needs to be removed on first gen 1.6 Miatas - no others.

new start log with base map set to fixed timing nothing else changed from base 9697 tune

Still no RPM. Can you make a composite log of an attempted start? This will show us what RPM signal is making it through.

It's got a cam position signal but no crank. Check the CAS wiring, and if there aren't any clear faults in the wiring, please email us directly at websales@diyautotune.com.
