Inverted clutch switch issue?
I am running ms3pro and I am unable to get the clutch switch to work properly to enable launch control. When the clutch is not pressed in it is registering as on. When I press it in it is still on as well. When the car goes into gear it is off at that point. Tried multiple “channels” sorry for not using correct terms.
the car has a 1.8, ms3pro and an nb 5 speed in my 1992 NA

Being in gear or not shouldn't make a difference. Theres literally just a simple switch on the that gets pressed in when the pedal is depressed. The switches can fail, wiring can be faulty, or maybe it's sticky? Is your MS the right version for your chasis?
Things you can check
- what happens if you push the switch manually
- make sure its properly engaged by pedal
- check continuity with multimeter. IIRC, one connects to an ecu pin, other to ground

There is literally one wire going to MS for the clutch switch. If its on or off is determined by if its grounded or not ... Thats it. No other systems in the car interact with it outside of the ECU.
Have you even tried locating the switch and inspecting it? It's super easy. That's your first step. Trust me.
