Just installed -- slightly loping idle, collapsing MAP signal hose?
Hi guys. I'm working through the MS piggy install, bought from Brainiack. Haven't put on the Knocksense or EBC yet, but a couple quick questions:
I bought some vacuum hose from Kragen for the MAP signal, and it seems a bit limp. The log of my idle suggests it's narrowing under vacuum. What do you think? Does it even matter? Do I have to dig up some of that hard plastic vacline and irritating brass fittings?
My car's timing was set to ~7 BTDC before the install, but I just changed the angle in Megatune instead of messing around with the CAS and potentially growing a new oil leak. Now Megatune's reading agrees with what my timing light says. Bad idea?
Here's a log of my idle with a little throttle blip in the middle. Is there anything alarming that I don't see?
