Kraken EV14 700cc Bosch Injector Problems
I am running the full kraken kit along with the provided EV14 700cc Bosch injectors. I have set the required fuel to 4.3 using MS calculations and the deadtime to .9 and .2 voltage correction. When getting IDLE to 14.0-14.7 AFR my VE tables are in the 70s-80s. This feels far to high. I feel like the values are to high as if these injectors are not truly 700cc. When running on 550cc required fuel calculation VE tables look more normal. Bad injectors? Wrong injectors? Leaking possible?

I measured about a 2.5mm difference in height from stock. I 3d printed spacers / washers that ended up being a bit shy of 2.4mm (my printer’s tolerances seem to be about 0.1mm).
bolted it all up and after I zeroed out the Priming Pulse setting (in addition to the other settings) everything is running fine.

The part number 0 280 158 235 is rated to 731cc/min according to bosch au !
They actually state that 731cc/min = 500g/min = 66 lb/hr, that seems a bit off....... 66 lb/hr in a calculator is 693cc/min (much closer to the Kraken 700cc/min specs).

There's no way those dead times are right. Your VE is about 2x what it should be, so you are using VE instead of dead time to make the injectors operate. While this will get a car running, your idle will never be super duper great with bad dead time info.

Do you think I got my math wrong?

min what way do you think they are wrong? 10 times too big or too small? the data sheet you can download from here for (what I think are very similar Bosch injectors but it’s what I can find now on my train ride home) has a dead time of 1,020 micro seconds at 12v and 3 bar so call it 1 millisecond, not far off the 0.9 ms I entered.

Are we talking about VE, or the number you put into the MS table to get the right mixture?
I know they are related, but the number you put into MS is not just the VE.
FWIW, my number at 900rpm/42 map is 80. This gives me very close to 4.7 AFR at these numbers.
I have set the dead times to the spec sheet provided with my injectors.

Your VE table should NOT be that high. You need to get the correct deadtimes and correction.
This was the issue I was having. High VE table and I tried numerous methods to find the deadtimes and tested many of them. VE table was always to high and the car never idled well, randomly died a lot.
After few days of trying I gave up and got different injectors. If you find the correct settings please post I am curious cause I could never get the darn thing to work.
