Default Longer Dwell Time on Stock coils and ignitor???

Does anyone run a higher dwell time (running) on their stock coils and ignitor? Is it safe. I just put on a set of JR 8mm spark plug wires and figured they could handle a slightly bigger jolt so why not. I don't want to burn them out so if 5.0ms (running) is already pushing it then i will leave it alone.

Leave it alone.
If you want more spark return the JR wires and buy a set of COPs.

Why do you want to? If you're having trouble with spark blowing out tighten the gap on your plugs.
