MSPNP in Glove Compartment
So I put my MSPNP in the glove compartment (90-93) and it fits perfectly. The MSPNP hits the latch (not the handle) causing the compartment not to lower all the way. So my idea is to remove the latch and use magnets to hold the compartment shut.
Ideas/COmments?

If you are sitting in the passenger seat looking at the glove compartment, the MSPNP is in line with you (ie mouting tabs on left and right, with plug in the rear, towards the engine bay). Its mounted to the top of the compartment. It works fine, just if you open the compartment instead of it opening all the way it will stop short as the MSPNP hits the latch. So everything works fine, just a matter of either cushioning it when it rests on the latch or removing the latch altogether.

email DIY about it... Jerry was talking about some extension cables for people who wanted to show off the pnp unit (like mount it on the package shelf between the seats). it won't be as cheap as the glovebox idea, but I think it would be cleaner

i removed my airbag and used neodymium magnets to secure it, the ones out of harddrives. after installing the turbo i've had the cover just out on hard launches. i pull it off for auto-x because it never stays in place for that. the glove box with ms will be even heavier. don't underestimate the inertia of a moving or still object.

Try lining it up on the left side of the glovebox, with the harness coming in from the right. Push the box all the way to the left, and then push the FRONT of the box further left so it sits at a slight angle. The glovebox should close then. (at least my '94 glovebox does)
