Default Megasquirt being glitchy

Hello!

I’ve been having an issue with my megasquirt not reading my coolants consistently lately. It has been causing my miata to bog and die due to incorrect temperature readings. I plugged in my MEgasquirt into my laptop to find out at the cold start, it states I am already at 180 degrees. I wiggle the harness and see the temperature spike down dramatically, and it will also jump up over 200 degrees.. This is very strange and I am extremely confused. Like I said, I wiggle the harness and the temps will jump back to normal, hit over 200, or just will not do anything but stay at 180.

thanks in advance for your help

lmao, well. You’re probably right, maybe thats why I enlisted into field artillery lol.. I’ve traced the sensor from the back of the head, into the harness, checked for any splits or tears, however nothing. I opened the MS and literally just brushed the connections with my fingers and it started to read normal temps again.. So I am probably the glitched one :(

might be a bad solder on the connector or something. bust out a magnifying glass and really inspect the pins/etc
