Hi there, new to the forum, have recently decided to go turbo with my 1990 1.8 swap that was previously just nitrous. engine is built with 9:1 je pistons and eagle rods, arp studs all around and torsen rear. I am unsure which year megasquirt i should be buying as they are all divided up into 2 year blocks. the car and harness are 1990 from the 1.6 engine is a 2000 1.8. do i get the megasquirt designed for the car or engine?

You need a Megasquirt for a 1990-1993.

 

and probably some work to do on sensors and add some wiring for example for 2 more injectors if you want sequential..
