Microsquirt/MS2 for 99/00?

Microsquirt/MS2 for 99/00?
This is for an SCCA STR 00 NB with bolt ons. Rules do not allow any additional sensors, and the MS must be run in parallel to retain factory ecu.
My primary concern is being able to work (well) with stock sensors.
Any special considerations before I go this route? Is there any reason to choose an MS2 over the Microsquirt for this application?
