As for spot revving, its great for the stumble off idle but how do you calculate all the other values?

3rd one down as Richy said. It isn't a PW generator, so it's not going to tune your car for you but you can take the DIYautotune values which should be pretty good to start with then adjust the PWs with this little .xls application.

Ill check it out, but last night I road tuned my AE and it works like a charm now.

If it wasn't for the 9697pnp I would have left my shitty AE the way it was. What I thought was richness at acceleration that was causing the lean spike, was actually leaness. After tuning last night, getting on the gas anywhere results in proper richness.

I have been running the 94/95 base spark map on my 97 for a couple of months now, and after examining the two tables, it seems that the 96/97 table has slightly retarded timing in comparison. AFAIK, I haven't been getting any knock under boost, so wouldn't it be better performance wise to keep the slightly advanced map of the 94/95 table?

We give each motor what it needs with the pump93 fuel currently available here locally. A few things are possible here... Different car/motor... different day, and every day on a dyno is just slightly different-- SAE correction for different weather conditions isn't perfection. And lastly different fuel (in this case it would have likely been winter mix fuel as it was December, which often allows for slightly less timing).

As for what you should run? You'd have to put your car on a steady state dyno, running the fuel you're going to be running, to be able to determine that. More than optimal ignition advance will actually make less power and at the risk of detonation. These maps are there as base maps only... they're good ones... but if you want it just right in your particular circumstances you'll need a dyno.

I am currently running a EMU on my 00 Miata, and would buy a MSPNP today if they were available. The 99/00 has a superior head and a little higher comp ratio, so you can typically get more hp w/ a little less boost. More people have bent rods on the 99/00 group trying to push it, because prior to the Hydra(2k) there have been no pnp full standalone options.

I am not excited about spending 2k on an ECU, but I am also not fond of the quirkiness I have experianced with the EMU (althought the EM Blue was less quirky) piggy. There is the XEDE, which is a better piggy for $1100, but a full standalone for less would be better....

This is all good feedback on the 99-00... the more desire there is the more likely we can bump the priority... We've got alot going on right now but I really want to make this one happen too...

Lots of $5000 and lower 99-00 Miatas! There is a market for a MSPNP for the 99-00, a lot bigger than the 96-97.

I have an Xede with 550cc Injectors sitting in a box. I too would purchase the MSPNP today if it was ready! I'm looking for the simple life from an ECU now, but know that I am doing to need more power in the future. 300+ :)

I agree. I would buy the PNP in a hot second. As I'm thinking about adding functionality to my MS, I can't do the work myself. I just want something that has everything. Even peeked at the Hydra today (and quickly lost my lunch). Seems to be a lot of us on here waiting for a better mousetrap.

I'm running EMU myself, and on a built engine at that.:vash: I'd jump on the MS thing right now if it was available for my '99.
