91 N/A IAT Questions - Parallel Install
1) I'll be installing my parallel DIY MS w/ HR (N/A) this weekend and was wondering what drawbacks will I face w/ no GM IAT installed (AFM will still be present).
Will I still be able to tune fuel?
2) Is the bias 1450 correct one to use w/ the AFM? No R7.
3) Or should I stop being a poontang and just drill a hole into the plastic intake tubing and place my GM IAT in there w/ some silicone? However, the AFM will still be there (unplugged) b/c I don't want to buy an adapter for a cone filter.

There is a switch inside the AFM that triggers the fuel pump whenever the flapper moves off its rest postion. If you remove the AFM, you will need to trigger the Circuit Opening Relay off pin 37. The easiest way to do this is at the COR, which is located under the dash near the steering colum. Tap into the light green wire and you are good to go.
