First off, yes you need a proper tps to do the tune justice.
Second, yes VEAL goes bonkers at idle, I usually set min 1200rpm and min 35kpa and tune everything below those by hand |
Do NOT autotune idle.

if it's speed density then no, a leak would make it read higher

Just got the interior back in. I tee'd off at the twin TB nipples, as they were free. with my boost gauge tee'd off the line going from the TB nipple to the MAP as they were both going to the interior... Was this wrong? Even under throttle, it's not moving beyond 12.7 now. Seems to get worse as it gets warm... Since my boost gauge is in line with my TB nipple to MAP, I will say with the car off, the boost gauge reads 0 with it on and idling, it reads 24VAC, raising slowly as I increase RPM in neutral. |

Here's a log of me trying to get to 5k RPM in neutral without AFR's going to 16+ Not sure if it will help diagnosis.

Stumble is still there, significantly lessened however. Anyone have tips for making changes to idle while many accessories are on? Heater, windshield wipers, lights, and blinker? I'm at 14.2 AFR no electrical load and 16.8 with all those things on. Is that okay? Tips for first/reverse stumble?
I went with TPS4185 it wasn't fun, about a 2 hour job total. |

I went with TPS4185 it wasn't fun, about a 2 hour job total. Getting massive flat spots in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th as I get ballsy with the throttle. I read several threads, turned on AE, TPSDOT, calibrated the new VTPS, at low RPM the flat spots are WORSE, at high RPM they've become MUCH MUCH BETTER!!! How do we eliminate these? |
