Default MS1 VS MS2 kit contents

Hey guys, a quick question here. I have a MS1 up and running in my car. Looking to upgrade to MS2. Meanwhile I have a coworker looking to install an MS1 in his 67 VW (my influence, poor kid).

Anyway, if we order him an MS2 diy v3.0 kit from diyautotune am I correct in thinking we can then just swap my processor for his new daughter board and he will have all the same parts he would get with an MS1 kit? I would rather pay the $60 price difference than the $90 standalone price for the daughter board.

The only difference between the MS1 and MS2 kits is the processor. The MS3 kits include a different (larger) enclosure and additional hardware for the larger processor.
