Default MS2 basic repair (ST sign fuse damage)

Hello guys,

I have managed to damage MS2 basic by putting in the ST sign fuse (don't ask why...). Now the fuel pump needs to be run via diagnostic box override (and that is less than ideal).
It is unit from mslabs, tried to contact Rev / email with no reply, so trying luck here.

Could anyone give me advice how and what to repair/replace? I have found some info about transistor replacement, but don't know if it is applicable to mslabs unit.

The transistor for the fuel pump activation blows. On a 'regular' MS it's a TIP125. Rev probably uses something similar. Just replace it and you're good. Trace it back from the fuel pump output pin (1C on a 90-93 IIRC) and you'll find it.

Thanks a lot for advice! Much appreciated. I presume it is the tip125 on the foto. Do you think I need to do something about the burnt link on the board, or is it just Rev's indication tool?

The "Link" trace may have saved the TIP125. You can start by bridging the two vias (holes) that the link contacts and see if the pump works. If it does, you're good. If not, replace the TIP125.
