MS2, not getting VSS signal

Reverant enhanced MS2, in a 1995, not getting any VSS to the MS.
Been trying to get things to work on MS that require VSS. Boost by gear, launch/flatshift.

Did a lot of reading. Seems it should work on a 1.8 car with cruise from the factory? Had to send some kind of speed reference to the stock ecu.

Car had factory cruise control, removed it, but added the cruise switch back to the dash to try to get it to work, so the wiring should all still be in place, just the actuator is removed. Still nothing.

Do I need to do something like this?

And where would I wire it to? ( circuit board noob )

I don't think it is in the tune, but attached a copy.

You need to connect the VSS wire to pin 34 on the upper connector of the Enhanced MS2.

This only applies to versions 4.4 - 4.7 of the Enhanced MS2.

So back of the gauge cluster wired to pin 34 on the top db37.

Attached a couple pics just to make sure I am correct on which connector. It appears to be open and ready to wire in.

Is there a way to get a complete pinout for my unit (s/n attached too )? I have an egt probe and some oil press/temp sensors that should work with this too.
