I am having issues with my MS2E on my 99. Built this about 15 years ago, it was running but doing some upgrades TS would not longer support 2.1.1beta. I could access the MS2 and make minor changes with old firmware but did not work well.
While upgrading firmware through TS / Bluetooth RS232 to 3.4.4 it seemed to work, for some reason car fans turned on possibly different settings then no start. Attempted to return to the restored firmware and lost BT dongle connection.

I don't have a usb-RS232 adapter anymore, is this worth obtaining and trying? Computer pairs with the BT RS232 adapter but is not recognized in tuner studio. TS problem?

I recall back in the day having to do a reboot with a jumper to do a hard reset, but don't want to tear it all out if I don't have to don't have to. Ideas on next step? Not much on this online in the last 10 years.

Did you check your communication settings in TS? It may be searching for an actual USB connection instead of connecting via Bluetooth.
