Default Ms3 with greddy profec boost controller

Hi guys, been searching this one up and havn't really found my answer. I already have a greddy profec controller from my old car, I like the ability to adjust my boost parameters quickly without a computer. Does MS3 require the boost controller /solenoid to be wired up to it or can it be a standalone as is?

It can be separate. Sixshooter is doing that.
Electronic Boost control can be off, but overboost protection still activated.

Thanks! That will save me a bit of money to spend elsewhere.

They can be used separately, or you can simply drive the greddy solenoid with the MS3 and drop the external controller. There are advantages to using the MS3 for boost control from an integration and functionality perspective. Switching to a second boost target map with a toggle switch is also super easy to setup.

I ran a greddy as a controller for my first compressor stage in my original compound prototype system (MS2 based). When I went to MS3, I went with boost control solely with the MS3.
